Service and Maintenance
Carrying out regular maintenance services you will not only meet manufacturers warranty terms and conditions but also ensure system performance, energy efficiency and meet the Australian standard AS3666.
Frequency of maintenance services is depending on the equipment usage and the environment of which the equipment is running in.
The following work is carried out during a Standard maintenance Service:-
- Check the air filters and clean them as required.
- Check the operating temperatures.
- Check the operating refrigerant pressures.
- Check fans, motors and bearings.
- Check the fan belt tension, and adjust as required.
- Check condensate drains and trays.
- Check for any undue vibration or abnormal noise.
- Check the electrical wiring in the unit.
- Check operation of damper motors.
- Check Heating and cooling modes.
Annual Service as part of a maintenance contract
- Check the registers and clean them as required.
- Major coil cleans as required and in accordance with WH&S on indoor Evap coils and outdoor condenser coils.
- Corrosion Protection of units as required.
- MSSB's – Clean and check wiring.
Optional Extras for Residential Maintenance customers.
Carrying out coil cleans; corrosion protection and cleaning of registers are not covered as part of a standard maintenance service. All of these extras are available upon request or as advised by the service technician on the day of your maintenance. Additional costs apply.
